,,Asb''اسب

"Asb“ is a film about "movement and idleness, escape and anticipation, being left and how
one deals with waiting“.
A woman stands at a window, looking outside. We see a young girl running, holding a veil
held above her head.
She is the daughter, a witness to her father’s disappearance and her mother’s waiting.
The daughter’s reaction is different to her mother’s - she does not stand still, instead she runs
away.

DogMe

We see the hands of a woman who makes the bed very long and exaggeratedly orderly. The
bed is a place were we see pictures which sometimes have their roots in our very deepest self and sometimes even are more intense than what we call reality.
While the hands are making the bed we drift away in pictures which our hands try to
remember through striking.

Pixelated Memories

How important are pictures for us which were shot in a time we do not have clear cut
memories of? After five years living in Germany, I recognized that I had little photos and memories of my childhood in Iran. So I started to searching for a picture of me and  my mother.

Every day a lot of metal scrap parts are loaded onto ships and are transported from
